My friend Kim often posts conversations with her 4 year old son on her blog. They are so funny and it seems a great way to document the funny things kids say that I know one day will pass.
So here are a few Leland funnies as of late:
- Leland loves to sing, listen to people sing, watch people play instruments, watch people direct music, and everything else having to do with music. Today while watching General Conference during the congregational hymn Leland was intently watching the chorister direct with a stick, she says, "Dad, he has a magic wand like the Fairy Godmother!!"
- Continuing with the above musical theme (as most of everything with Leland involves music) here is a song that she has been singing a lot lately ...."Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho! I hope they call me a mission. Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho!"..... I guess it's a nice mix - Seven Dwarfs and missionary work.
-While watching a Nascar race..."Dad I want them to crash."......"When are they going to crash?" (Yeah that's my Southern redneck girl!)
- Her favorite thing to say right now is "That's awesome!"
- When discussing her birthday,
Chuck asked "What do you want for your birthday?"
Leland responds, "Pink!"
Chuck asks, "A pink what?
Leland says, "A pink present."
- She LOVES chocolate milk and hot chocolate. Here she is with her hot chocolate walking at Chuck's school. Click on the picture to see her licking her lips.
lol when my son was turning 4 or 5 (cant remember exactly) he said he wanted Green for his birthday. Green what? Just green. So he got a green cake and green balloons and everything was green. I still find green food coloring on my mixer for some reason - won't ever go away.
ReplyDeleteI love Leland conversations, One of my favorit is when she was just about 15 months, everytime you or Chuck would leave the room, or RV! She would yell Asheee, Uckk, Ashee, Uckkk. She was not sad she just thought that was the thing to do, like she was looking for you in Hide and Seek
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I miss her so much! she always give Ryan and I a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteHahaha what a cutie, those made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteA woman after my heart... Leland... I agree, Hot cocoa ROCKS!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is that I LOVE blogging. I would miss out on so much if you girls hadn't gotten into blogging. Leland watching conference is adorable and Lucy rocking that crib warmed my heart. Ashley, you were just like Lucy as a baby. You were strong and physical and tried things your big sisters never even thought of.
