I love this time of year - the vibrant colors and the crisp autumn air. The colors are just beautiful, but the weather here has been unbelievably warm for the first week of November. I'm not complaining, I still get to wear my flip flops. I love not having to bundle the kids up to go outside.

We enjoyed a particularly gorgeous Friday strolling around Boxerwood Gardens. My friend Karen and I went with her 2 girls. Kira and Leland play so nicely together. It's nice for her to have a little buddy. We finally convinced the girls to venture out of the play area and went for a walk on the trails in the acres of land there. We were rewarded with gorgeous scenery and found some hammocks and swings in the middle of some trees.
Did Chuck really write this? Love the fall colors. I ought to head up to Boxerwood.
ReplyDeleteI wrote this. We never know who is signed on when we go to post. I wrote all 3 of the posts tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you guys had a great time on your trip. The girls looked adorable as witches! When are you guys coming to California?
ReplyDeleteIs that Lucy in the middle? I miss the fall colors. Eastern North Carolina has a few colorful trees here and there, but its not like the rolling hills of Virginia. I love your first picture. Who took it?
