See ya soon!

"See ya soon" is becoming my motto for having to say goodbye to all these wonderful friends we have made while Chuck has been in law school. It's really hard to actually say "goodbye" knowing that we most likely will not see each other again at all or at least anytime soon. So I have decided to just say "see you soon" it hurts less to say, it's more positive I guess.

We've had to do this whole goodbye thing to friends before when we left Maryland, then again in California, and now Virginia. It's pretty amusing that on the side of our blog we list MD friends and VA friends but very few of those people actually still live in those states. (It's actually UT, ID, AZ, NV, TX, TN, IL, ME, CO, WA, NM, MN and possibly more.)

The friends in this picture are some of my friends I have to say "see ya soon" to this year. 2 have already left, 1 leaves this weekend, and 2 I'll have around for the summer. We all go to church together, we were visiting teaching companions and visit taught one another, we had playgroup together, we were all a part of Law Families and TNLC, and our husbands all obviously went to school together. We probably saw each other 3 or more times a week almost every week for the last year. Our kids are all friends too.

I'm going to miss (and already miss) these girls tremendously. At least I'll have maternity clothes, food, baby clothes, baby blankets, and pictures to remind me of all you.

  3. Oh sadness... we're not even going to talk about that. On the other hand, it took me forever to figure out where that picture was taken.
